I have a hand with a car showing up on my dash and my car won't turn over it will only make a tick tick tick sound.
Is this smart lock and how can I fix it?

tick tick tick sound sounds like a flat battery or a bad battery connection. Check your terminals and put a multimeter to the battery and see if it's charged.

Yep fine. Had to jump mine this morning. Left it running to long while giving it a clean yesterday. Good thing i have a double garage to get the second car in there.

I find the easiest way is leave the second car running, positive to positive. Then negative to negative. Leave it run for a couple of mins, then turn yours over. Then disconnect. Negative first, then positive.

edit: leaving it running for too long is all of 12 minutes -.-

Good to hear it was just a flat battery

Yea leaving my stereo running for anymore then 10 mins will flatten the battery.. the batts getting a bit old and has been run flat a fair few times..
plus running 2 fairly big amps.
