G'day bangm001 and the contributors to this thread WOW , they are great photos among these additions...Bloody lovely posters and adverts ...I do recall this great little TV Ad too.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dPvuH_1KPM ..The BA GT was a knockout looker and a ripper on the road. Still is most probably..The FPV 's feature in this clip too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUoPdiGPka8 . I know it's the pictures you're more interested in but it's still a good watch regardless.

That Blood Orange BA GTP was the photo that made my mind up to get a GTP! Thanks for posting. She's long gone but at a good home. Wink, wink, Steve!

A time not that long ago when Ford Australia was kicking goals on and off the track. Who knew back then that the end was near. After Polities was moved overseas it all went to downhill.

Tuff and beautiful looking cars , excellent interior and a great choice of motors. Reminds me of why I bought my B series and why I still have it and won't part with it.
Reminder of some nice emotive advertising as well.

Nail/head Bluey Not seen any of em myself so great to see, just got in from some miles in my BA GTP the last 1/2 hour or so in darkness and as we got in to town i said to the mrs "there is nothing on this earth (apart from the obvious) thats as enjoyable as driving a GT Falcon" doubt she gets it like i but she at least pretends.Like you i own a B series GT and will not be parted with it,besides the fact ive sold to many old ones and regretted etc etc i reckon the B series GTs are about as good as it gets, pretty as a picture and tough enough on real world roads.

I have some photos from when I put her up for sale. I'll find them, might take a couple of days to put them up.

Thanks for posting up the photos Steve, truly brings a tear to my eye.
That's a 9 year old car in those photos. It was stored for 7 of those years; I used to work in Brunei and when I came back from time to time I would always take her out for a week or so. The front bar was resprayed once and there were a few stone chips - seemed to chip fairly easily. That was a "good un" I think - it seemed to sit a bit lower than some other GT's I saw of the same vintage, and didn't have much in the way of driveline shunt. And it was a tough looking car. Had some character too, there's a bubble on the dash that gets bigger as the interior heats up. I had the choice of leaving it as it is or having a new dashboard put in. I chose to leave it as I didn't want to risk getting squeaks and rattles in a car that was really tight and rattle free. Never let me down and I'm pleased as punch that Steve has looked after her well.

I got a copy of the orange BA GT "lion tamer" poster back when the Melbourne motor show was massive, must have been 2003, back then if u told me ford would stop building cars in Australia I would have been depressed for a month, but I guess their killing slowly tactics softened a lot of people up.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a 2004 FPV ordering guide. Full of all the info and 100s of pages. I could take a few images if you like

Well done guys, cool thread and great looking BA there. I have said this previously these are hard cars to live with as daily drivers so a well looked after example one is very hard to find! ANd full credit given to their owners.
