Default AU ute badging

hey guys just wondering if anyone can help me out, was thinking on badging my xls au series 1 ute, and was wondering if anyone can tell me what badges has pins into the guards or or rear tail gate? as I dont want to remove them and be left with holes
as I wanted to remove the falcon, xls and ford emblem off the tail gate.
and maybe the intech OHC badges from the front quarter panels.
thinking just heat gun and fishing line to get them off ?
after question or comments to help me out

I don't believe any of them are held on with pins anymore.

im pretty sure all bages on the au's are just held on by double sided adhesive stuffs, just gently pry them off like a bogan kid or get some fishing wire. I wouldnt worry about soaking in metho and that stuff, they come off easy enough

The only things held on with pins are the moulds (doors, etc). If you use a heat gun, it will help soften up the glue on the double sided tape. If you pull of the Ford Badges, there may be an identation on the panels where they sat. There defintly is on the bonnet, not too sure about the tail gate.

I'm pretty sure the "Falcon" badge on the AU1 sedans and AU1,2,3 Utes is still held by pins...

intech badges on guards have no holes behind them

on tail gate the ford badge has two holes, the falcon badge has two holes, the rest is just stuck on

all mine are filled but i put the ford badge back on the tailgate as it looked too empty and that badge is something to be proud of py:

JC said on his AU 1 XR8 that when he removed the badges there were holes. He covered them up with new badges :

Good memory Bucky. Yes, I relocated the Tickford wings to cover the holes on the XR sedan. On the wagon, the Falcon badge also had holes, so it now has an XR badge covering the holes.

thanks guys,
I had a shot at the side intech badges tonight but they felt like pins as the fishing wire would only go so far but ill give it another shot, when you get the pin holes filled its the whole panel that has to be sprayed isnt it? any rough quotes guys?
I removed the faded XLS badge though so its lookin a little cleaner.

Yeah newbie AU owner, but x e-series member so once I get the ute the way I want it pics shall follow

The best way to remove the Intech badges on the side is with a hair dryer. It runs cooler than a heat gun. Dont want to stuff the paint. The letters are just vinyl. They soften up and just carefully peel tem off. Thats what I did and worked great. I didn't need to bother because to weeks later I covered it up with the T3 skirts for my wagon.

all badges on the tailgate of utes have pins in them,, two, one on each end, and you will find that when you take them off, the paint wont be so good underneath the badge, and it will be very noticible that you have taken them off.
i know this because my falcon badge fell off when i was washing my car, so i just liquid nailed the bastard back on (but i did a very neat job of it!)

Thank god I have a white ute ... so seeing fade in white is difficult.
I am thinking about debadging soon ... but replacing the Falcon bade with a BA model badge ... just for a cleaner looking badge.

I am lucky I only have the Intech "stickers" in the side ... will also be removing the Superscab stickers too.
