I have seen some people with holes in their air box and was thinking of doing the same to get a bit more of a note. I will ditch the old paper filter first and get a K&N filter but before I go and do that I have a few questions.
Do you get much of a note from holes in the air box? What is the part number for a K&N panel filter and how much aprox? Would I be better off getting a pod style filter and new piping?
