I went to our local ford dealer yesterday for a chat, only to be shown the wonderful new "Betta Electrical' merchandise booklet. Can't even call it a catalogue or brochure...it is full on!
I'm sorry but what is the deal here with the other teams?? They are missing out on a LOT of money here. Our club consists of members with babies, young children and lot's of grandchildren. Adults all very willing to part with the 'big bucks' on these kids, but unfortunately there's not a great variety of items to purchase. I have had many discussions with other people from both our club and others, here and interstate that have the same opinion. I know the 'people that count' read the forums, so how about it boys n girls, give our 'littlies' bandana's, thongs, whatever it takes. Knock the dark side right off the merchandise stool. Get into the chain stores like Target, K-Mart and Big W. |

I agree, I've often been frustrated because at each major shopping centre there is a Holden Shop whilst Ford has a few very select and way overpriced items at shops like "What's New" and such. Also, I'm sick of seeing every Holden product known to humanity sold at KMart and Target whilst Ford fans get very little. Interesting to see this year if KMart will get smart and stock more Ford gear as they're not sponsoring Holden this year. At least that's what it appears. Am I wrong on this? : |

There is Ford stuff at Kmart stores now, some Big W and Spotlight stores also do the stuff like the bedspreads and pillows.
It would be nice to see it more often but at the same time i would hate for Ford to get to the point of 'selling out' like Holden has - seems you can buy just about anything with a Holden logo on it nowadays, and the essence of Ford is great cars, not commercialism. Dont get me wrong, im all for them having more merchandise, but it ought to be of a decent standard - not like the Holden stuff you can buy at any cheapass store these days.

I've seen some merch in Kmart, but more in Spotlight, and specialty auto accessory stores.

If there's one thing guys in Holdens hate more than being beaten by a Ford... It's being beaten by a girl driving a Ford |
