Keep it!..
Put it in the garage and leave it till you can either afford to drive it or sell it in 30 years when it will be worth a bomb with 20ks on it. |

Don't sell it. You'll regret it.
This wasn't the promo BP was doing where if you filled up with Ultimate you went into a draw to win a GT-P, was it?

That reminds me im in an Adelaide Crow's raffle 1st prize is a Toyota Camry Ultima lol (no where near as good as a FPV GT-P) but I wont complain if I win it. Its drawn on 3/10 let you know if I win lol. By the way noticed the FPV GT-P in now in for sale section.

Sell it.
Invest the money, buy the time your 25 you'd be able to buy a new GT-P and spend $25,000 modding it. Say you got $65,000 for it in sale - if you threw this into one of the banks savings accounts - which have minute risk, over 5 years compounding the 65,000 would be worth $86,370 using the current rates - thats a bloody nice deposit on a house - to be honest you may lose a few grand in tax dependant on your other income over those few years, but combine this with the first home owners grant and you could probably throw $90,000 on a house, which would probably be 25% of a pretty good house down in the gong? In retrospect the value of the GT-P in three years will probably be $40,600, five years probably $28,000. otherwise insurance and fuel will be a killer for a 20 year old. Congrats on the win!
If it was me, I would sell it and invest the cash as Dave_AU said. Let the cash roll over for a few years, and then do something! Cheers Darran

Would definately sell it and use the money as an investment.
Car might look prettier now, but try to think how pretty your situations would be in comparison when you turn 25.

Sell it and buy a F6...LOL.
Seriously sell it and buy yourself a house, this amount of money will give you a very good kick start, don't squander it..

There was a poker machine at the casino here in the Alice that had a GT ford as the jackpot prize. A drunk itinerant indiginee wondered past it and dropped in a dollar coin. Bingo, the car was won. He turned up a week later to recieve his car, big ceremony type of event. It was the funniest thing that I have seen in ages. This itinerant bloke was off his face again and could hardly walk. The lady from the casino nearly vomited when she handed over the keys, the winner didnt have a license so some other guy from his mob had to drive the car away. That car was probably torched as soon as it ran out of petrol, and is probably out in the bush some place today. Funny, but sad all at once.
Good luck with your car. When you sell it, and be carefull, you will get all sorts of con artists trying to rip you off, invest the money and use it to buy a house/unit..... This will set you up for life and before you know it you will be able to buy your own GT and insure it.

^^haha nice thinking XRChic.
I would do exactly what the others have said. Either garage it and keep it, or sell it. In my current state id sell it, I have no need for that kind of car at the moment. Id blow $10k on a euro trip and bank the rest! Your a lucky bugger!

You'll probably find that the/a dealer may pressure you with some low ball amount for a quick sale - they could then try and sell it as a demo or something like that so be careful. But then again, you need to question the sort of market that goes for a GT-P - you obviously couldnt offer financing, or be part of a fleet purchase! Hills Ford in Sydney have a blue ex demo BF GTP with 610km on the clock going for $63,990. Ultimately you want to be able to find a private buyer who would love $5,000 off a brand new GT-P. |

Far better off investing in shares. Speak to a share broker. Pity right now is a bad time to invest. I'm looking forward to the next market crash! |

Most other investments obviously carry supposed better returns but higher risk as well. Ideally you should have a risk portfolio whereby you try to mitigate, or at least offset some risker investments with others that carry little risk - ie savings accounts. |
