Got delayed twice yesterday. Once going to work at Tottenham by a rollover (truck), and once leaving West Swanston Dock. Another rollover. Pic was taken from the phone, but had to be quick as there was a Motorbike Policeman on the coner. (Don't need to lose any more points) I didn't see the over rollover so no pics on that one. Driver was treated at the scene for cuts and ebrasions, but I believe he's ok. Will know more tonight on his condition. I think the load shifted on him in the container, as the guy is not a cowboy.

I wonder how that happened, it dosnt look like a truck could maintain any sort of pace through there.
Interesting question about using your camera phone. Youre not using your mobile phone while driving since its the camera function thats active and there is no law that states you cant take pictures while driving. Would a "use of mobile phone while driving" charge hold up in court? |

Thats an odd place to roll, esp in a 4o zone and going driver's side down over the wrong side of the road.
Last week we had a QLD B double (subbie) pull out of our yard and drop his B trailer length ways across the road, blocked both sides of the road for 3 hours. Normally we can pick them up with 5 or 6 forks but in this new depo it's on a main road so the driver was out of luck, 1oo ton crane was needed to lift it back up. |
