Why's that?? have you seen the cars. I have and they are worth every cent he is asking for them. the sedan is what i would term as one of the best unrestored GT's around, and for $60,000 not bad if you ask me.

I've noticed that the prices of XA/B GT's has been heading north pretty quickly for a while now... could be good money to be made down the track by starting a replica project if the price of XY GT replicas is anything to go by

Yeah, that's what we want. More people destroying a good Fairmont to make a knock off. Keeping in mind the prices are rising because these things are getting harder to find. Making one that looks like it's genuine is still slowing down the process. Wanna make money, buy a real one.

I think it's a pretty reasonable way to go, keeps the tyre kickers away and a good way of screening out the shonks as well.

BTW, I love the XB. The "horn car" stripes are pretty over the top but I don't mind it at all. If I had the spare cash, I would snap it up.
