putting a stereo in for a mate, can anyone tell me what the colors for Constant Power - Accesories - Earth - are on the standard plug? thanks dane |

Black is earth.
Then it's either yellow or red for constant and accessories. Use a test light and figure it out man, c'mon, don't be lazy! :P

all worked out in the end, got it going in the end, but the amp they sold him wasnt big enough to run 2 subs so now we back too JB tomorrow to get another amp big enough to power the subs, then clean it all up and he will be happy. was good got a slab of beam bottles and 100$ cash for it

DaNeoS, glad it all worked out. I found the best investment when installing stereos is a multimeter. You can spend over $100.00, but mine was one of the best $10.00 tools I have bought. Simple, easy to use, and there is no alternative when you really need it. Well done, but I thought this might be useful for next time.
