Hi All,
I have a new silver genuine Tickford XR Fascia that I want to fit. I pulled out the instrument cluster and the perspex lens to reveal the dials but could not find the way to remove the needles from the gauges. How can I get the needles out of the gauges to remove the std blue fascia and replace it with the silver one. all ideas would be appreciated Cheers Engineer |

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the advice. I finally go the gauge needles of using 2 butter knives (geez they need some force to come off!!). All worked out great, thanks for the recalibration tip when putting it together. I would only add to just put the needles in enough to try the calibration test with ignition on. Do NOT home the needles all the way in either as you need to leave some clearance (1mm) so that the needle does not catch on the fascia. looks great worth the effort for sure!! Cheers Engineer |
