I have named almost every driveable car I have owned. and you think your sad? :

I started at 'B' and have worked my way through the alphabet. Up to 'H' now.

Bertha, Chloe, Dash, Emmy, Frankie, Gracey, and Holly....

The one car I did not name, I wrote off in 4 months... :gren:

I called my first car Hayley only because it was covered in hail damage. But for some reason I'm in the habit of calling my new ute hayley as well so I guess I'm in the same boat as you. The previous owner told me that she called the car princess but i can't bring myself to call it that.

* My XA is called Sherman as in Sherman tank.
* The Mini is called Borris the Morris.
* The Pulsar is called the ATM machine because it has ATM on the number plates and is costing me and arm and a leg.

The utes usually "You ********** piece of ******" or "The big blue *****".

Or just "The Ute". Not too imaginative ay but they work.

Just dont call it a guys name whatever you do. Was watching Dukes of Hazard last weekend and it sounds rather strange when they start calling a car he/him/whatever.

Well the XR8 was frist called Silver Bullet when i brought it, but than the g/f renamed to Xtra Rare & she named the Lazer, Larry. Larry can be a grils name so i let it go & toll her that all my cars are girls.
