Default Ignition Module

Can the Ignition module on the I6 be faulty but still work if you know what I mean? Or do they either work or not?

Cheers.

They can have intermittant problems, or can just stop working all together. The intermittant problems can sometimes occur for no reason or sometimes due to heat of running for a while.
