I didn't realise there were any CFI cars left...

Sounds like you're well prepared, good luck with the conversion.

Try and get your hands on a spare MPFI fuel pump, cos I have had duds in the past.

You're waiting so you can drag and dyno the CFI? What a waste of $100. It'll pull a high 17 with a strong tail wind and be lucky to crack 80rwkw.

good going mate.

I remember a few years back i got me MPI kit off sunny and fitted it all on a lazy weekend with a carton of beer. Best mod you can do with a CPI motor.

Just remember don't give her too much after the conversion. I got down the street and had a right hand turn and thought i would gun it. Got her completely sideways with the wheels spinning, with the old cfi setup and wouldn't even chirp the tyres.

Also it helps having a brand new throttle cable, alot of the cables you get from the wreckers a stretched. just a tip or if it is a bit stretched just bend up the bracket on the inlet log manifold so to get wide open throttle.

you will never look back.... let the mods keep coming..............
