Wouldn't you need a little red flag out the back as it sticks out a little past the bumper LOL

That thing is awesome!

I wonder how fast it is when wound up. Not sure how well the factory seat belts would hold up in an accident.

That's purely amazing. I wonder where he keeps the jet fuel, surely you'd want a fair sized tank.

"Hmmm, the car has two engines making the car a hybrid so maybe we can drive in the commuter lanes along with the Toyota Priuses."

That's hilarious given California's green car laws, a true middle finger to Arnie!

As the site says:

Kerosene is stored in a custom 14 gallon, baffled, foam-filled kevlar fuel cell in the spare tire well.

this guy had any more money he would put that thing in space, the vw to me look slike a strange sort of car to put a jet engine into. i would have thought he would have gone with something more practical with more room the back, but no and he has done a bloody good job of it. street legal...... I'm trying to figure out if it's actually street legal, or if there are any laws that could govern such things. I'm inclined to go for the latter.

it is street legal, but it is illegal to use the jet engine, so basically he can drive around with the little 1.8l 4 banger in the front and the $4million jet turned off

All I can say is that this car is even more insane then the Toyota MR2 with the smaller twin jet engine arrangment.

LOL @ that beetle & scooter. The guy knows his stuff though you have to admit, that's one of the strangest things i've ever seen. How rich is this guy ?

"Guy standing beside car had never seen it run before and was smiling ear-to-ear throughout the show. Had I launched, I would have burned him to a crisp. Well, live and learn. "
