Default Satnav EOI (Group Buy!!!)

hey all, just wanting to see how much interest is out there for a satnav group buy. havent got any prices yet but the systems i was looking at are the navman n40i or n60i or the tom tom go710.

reatil prices-

n40i - $850
n60i - $970
tom tom go 710 - $920

we would have to decide on one system to get the max discount but at the moment just after interest

Would love SatNav for Cruise's and picking up parts all over the country side BUT just can't justfiy the price of them at the moment.

Good idea though..............maybe put this in the pub instead of just e-series..........

Tomtom go 910 are now just under $1000, so I would assume the 710 would be down to about $860.
This is at JB hifi in Melbourne suburbs
If you have a group buy you should get better prices than these.

have to get some names down before i can deal with the distributors. the tom tom 910 is an extra 250 odd bucks and u get stuff like 20gb hard drive and stuff that not really necessary. but if people would prefer to spend the extra i can see what i can do about that also

Only about $150 difference between 710 and 910.

The main difference is you get a remote control, cable to connect the 910 to the radio ( if your radio has an input jack ), but the best bit is that it actually tells you the street you are looking to turn into. Instead of saying turn left in 100 metres it tells you turn left into Burke street in 100 metres.

They are expensive but if you are prone to getting lost they are a godsend.

I have just finished filming a segment with Today tonight where they compared 4 different units with the Melways. They sent us out to Mernda ( a suburb of Melb )
I had a tomtom 710 in my wifes landcruiser ( they wouldn't let me use my own car as it already has satnav as standard ) and won the challenge.
If they show the segment will probably be on in the next couple of weeks
