ok i know this has been discussed many times but i can find the specific info im after.
im runnin my bbm manifold using the standard eb com, i have a ford vac switch but what i want to know is does the switch need the power to it to change the bands or does the power need to be taken from it to switch the bands when rpm is increasing. im either buyin a shift light setup to give it power and run it in a v8 mode so i can have the power goin to it lower than 3g to make the switch or to get a relay which works off signals (neg side of coil) and switches by taking the power away, need to know which way to go. or any other ideas ya may have. |

jaycar have a rev switch kit. only thing is, you dont get the best fuel/ignition timing as the el ecu. u could use a unichip to do them changes though.....

The ford vacum switch willl only work if you are using an eecV modile, it has a 12 volt feed and links back to the ecu. the ecu then switchs the runners at 3800 rpm and alters timing and fuel maps
