Can anyone tell me why my damn aircon keeps turning itself on all the time? Its pretty bloody annoying. This morning I was having a running battle with the aircon button, because the aircon seemed to think it knew better than me that it needed to be on when I quite clearly did not want it to be. Its my car and if I dont want the aircon on, I wont, dammit!!
Car is an '04 BA XT. Mods feel free to move this if its in the wrong place  |

Is the temp dial turned onto 'Air MAX' . If it is it will always come on.

I know it comes on automatically if the vent's on screen. That sh!ts me no end.
