Default Yay or nay

Just here to see what people think of what i've done. If you can't pick the difference, it's the silver stripe in the front bar.

I must say cheers to kev, who gave me the idea and some advice on it.

Cheers

I did the same on my afternarket front bar so that it matches the rest of the F/Ghia external trim.

For $20 from Supercheap its a great enhancement.

The sides are on the cards to be done, but i'll get the moulds painted first. So that looks like december at least before that'll happen. To much stuff to do, not enough time.

On the dark blue it looks the goods ... I don't think it'd look good on a lighter colour though ... and I think it'd look crap on white.

But it does suit your ute though .... breaks up the blue a bit.

I like it.

I'll second that. Looks great on the darker coloured cars.

I'm having this done to my AUII next wednesday. The chap who's doing it has an AUI painted Holden VX SS Metallic Greeny-Yellow and he has put a black stripe all round (with colour coded side moulds too) and it looks awesome. He's putting the chrome stripes on it for me next week. Will look closer and closer to a fmnt ghia!

Oh an mechan1k, it looks just as awesome on the white falcons. We bought in a white AUIII Futura to be a cab with the stripes and it looked great. It makes it look less like a whitegoods appliance.

Nice job!! I will admit I was looking for the silver stripe in the first picture then scrolled down to discover the change. Definite improvement.

Looks sweet, matches in nicely with the metalic look of the nudge bar and driving lights without being over the top. Nicely done

I love the silver pin stripe.....

I did it to my AU11 XR8 ute Front bar and side moulds and I have done it to my BA XR8 ute.
It was one of the cheapest mods ever done to either ute.
I belive it breaks the coulour up just nicely.

Do you think I can find a bloody pic of either ute side on though...

I didnt like it at first, but the Silver does break up the blue and goes with the bar quite nicely.

Looks excellent on the blue mate, would look very tidy with colour coded side moulds and the chrome striping.

I think the quality of the photo affect people's decisions. The first one is a good photo, that i took time to get right. The second one was done quickly so i had a photo of it.

Cheers people, it seams that most people seam to like it too.

I didn't put mine back when I had my front bar redone, nor does my rear bar have them either like the original, but in your case, I think it works nicely.
