If that's the case and as much as I love local muscle, I would be heading European for sure.

That's well and good, but they're not competitors. They're a full size class up. What if you want the family-size sedan with grunt? A car like the GTS-R or GTS 427 or whatever it'd be called would offer unbeatable value over the E63 AMG, S6 and M5.

They probably aren't direct competitors but if someone wants something sporty for around that price they might consider a choice between all of them.

what do we expect from the general? piston slap, electrical problems, reliability woes.
It wouldn't start fits in under one of those umbrellas ;)
