Default v8 t5 conversion

i have a t5 out of a ea-eb 6 cylinder,does anybody out there know would i have to use a v8 t5 bellhousing or can i get away with using a v8 singlerail bell,to fit it to my 351 clevo in my xf ute, and am going with hydalic and know it aint to hard to modify t5 bell to hydralic.
