i have an au111 6 in hot weather after i have driven the car , when i stop and turn the car off it is hard to start only when the engine is up to operating temp and hot weather , have new idle control, new fuel pump and filter, any ideas :togo:

This has been discussed here a few times over the years and from memory it is because of a common problem in the AU regarding fuel vapour in the fuel lines. Giving it a bit of pedal when starting usually overcomes it but it is depressing when it occurs.

yes my car has the same disease. Its one of those u gotta lump it issues IIRC.
I get kinda embarressed when it happens LOL. Whole dod damn family drive holdens and I can see them smirking. : |

thanks guys, i thought that but unsure , thought also coilpack breaking down when hot ? do you know if you can get hi/per coil packs for au's ?
