I agree, when i bought my TE in July last year i looked at a couple of BA XR's aswell i had an AU XR6 and i loved it but the TE popped up and i prefered all the luxuries you get with a T series over the XR's so i snapped her up

Definitely! Emotion plays a big part. I love the look of the AU XR range too and would love to own a low klm example like the one in the above link. You buy what you like the look of.

I wouldn't let the seller know that though. For me, when I am purchasing a car, I try to do the whole poker face thing and give the outward appearance of looking at it as a calculated decision rather than an emotional one. Its not, but thats the way I try to come across to the seller. Thats where, in your instance playing the 'I can buy a BA for that money' card is not a bad thing to bring to the table as part of the negotiating process. Puts that seed of doubt in a lot of peoples minds, especially if they also secretly believe that they might be asking a little too much for their car.

No one in here is going to blame you for having good taste in cars.

That's why the boyfriend will be the one looking at and offering for the AU. I get too attached to the cars and will offer just about anything to get it!! He on the other hand can be quite objective and can keep the whole poker face thing going. Thanks for the advice, its all really appreciated.

It is a Genuine Rebel! I own the car and is sitting in MY garage. The plates are NSW and is RBL 220 (ZERO). If yours is also NSW then yours will be RBL 22O (Letter O)

Cheers Daryl
