LOL im not a huge manual fan i drive an auto but thats just silly there are proven results that manual fords are quite a bit quicker, stock vs stock ofcourse. :

My 4spd is about to be thrown as I have had enough of exactly what you have described InitalD ........ I have just found a 5 spd transplant car & am hoping to have it done reasonably soon.

Im not one to think that its going to make the wagon go faster .... the change is simple .... I HATE AUTOS :P

Trust me Lisa, the car will deffinately get off the line quicker, not to mention possible better economy and driveability. Good to hear you're going manual. Yeah autos suck. :P

yes i have that.It is like the ecu is wondering what to do next.The shift kit seems to change this problem.

The manual ford conversion will show at least a 10rwkw difference increase in power.

do these "shift kits" work? cuse i have seen a few on ebay and am wondering if they are worth it and all.
who makes them, they look as if they are home made!
hows the economy?

Yes they work, they JUST make the auto shift harder meaning less lag between gears and increase the fluid pressure or something.
yes they are homemade, as its pretty simple to make
Doesnt effect economy.
