I would pay to see a BOSS in that, as the things snaps HAHA.

Oh well, put an F6 in it, then it will go! :

Was ACA around then? They would have run a story that night talking about how dangerous these high powered cars are.

How times have changed. The bottom of the ad asks anyone interested to write Ford a letter requesting more information. I cant remember the last time I wrote a letter.

Yesterday I was thinking about the 6kW or so they put out, that's at the motor, imagine the driveline loss!

If you read the print, advertising hasn't changed that much except for the "boy of 15" bit.

The replies on this thread remind me that FPV donated a BOSS290 to a high-school or tafe around Ballarat(?) to build a street rod. Wonder how that project's going...

It came out in 1903 so this is the first model A, the quadricycle one (not to be confused with the 2nd model A Vintage car in 1928)

Edit: Funny how Ford used the Model A name twice. It got me confused when they'd say the first Ford was the model A because I didn't realise there was an earlier model A.

In the states, Boss 330 is Al Papitto, world class engine builder of 5.4's.
Here's his "quadricycle".
