I can't understand why Osborne wouldn't consider an aluminium body- the XJ series jag went from an 1850kg monster to 1550kg purely by going to the aluminium body n chassis and it dumps on everything else in it's class now. It also gained more features on the way. COME ON ALUMINIUM CHASSIS/BODY.
Spose one reason it'll probably never happen is it's that much more expensive... can always dream |

If Holden are that worried about size/weight they should ditch the barge-like VE and start building the TT36 "Torana" showcar .. turbo'd V6 or 4.0L(ish) V8 would be nice ..
