As the title says, my once pristine ED Fairmont Ghia now has a munted front left corner.
I parked it in the local Westfield carpark and went to work. Came out to move it during my dinner break (4 hour free parking) and found that someone had hit my car. Indicator lens is smashed. Bumper is scraped to the sh*thouse and not sitting straighht. Quater Panel is not sitting right either. Ready to kill someone/something... Didn't leave note either, inconsiderate F***s... I will post pics when I borrow a digi-cam tomorrow maybe. Any ideas on how to fix the damage (Would cost more long term to use my insurance) will fix/replace/repaint most things myself. Anyone got any clear indicator lenses? At least now I have a valid excuse to change them. lol... Sorry guys I just need to vent my spleen...

Sucks don't it. I reccomend you find yourself a reliable wrecker to get parts from, as I'm tipping it wont be the last time such a thing happens. :(

Yeah thanks mate.
Not many wreckers in my area that I know of unfortunately. Anyone know of any wreckers in the Hornsby NSW area?

John_XR6 wrecked a cobalt ED receltly I doubt he has an parts left but worth a shot. That's tough luck man, you should be able to pickup a set of clear indicaters for $50 off ebay, you'll probably need a new bumper and mount, and quater panel too.

Thanks guys.
Yeah, will ring Hornsby Wreckers tomorrow and go and burn away a few weeks pay on items I need and some that I don't. Who said retail therapy was only for women! What are pick and Payless like? They are a bit out of the way, but if they are worth the drive I'll go.

Its great! Fill ya pockets for $2. You should be able to get panels for $35 each and the more you get the cheaper it should be. I got an N13 Pulsar LSD gearbox for $100 and sold it the next week for $350. And there is heaps of Falcons there. Last time i was there, about 15-20 ea-ed and another 10 ef-el |
