Default Quik question

I have read alot that heaps of people with e-series put au snorkels in them i was wondering what they are like do they replace tyhe standard on that comes out of the air box? and do they inproive power at all?..and if it would be easy to fit one on my EB my self..if so does anyone know how much they are approx. and were i can find one

Any help appreciated thx in advanced

the one that people with EA-ED use is the XH ute snorkel.
i'm sure someone with one will post some pics and more details for you.

yeah about $35 from ford, easy to do bolts straight in where the old one went. will need to cut the radiator shroud a bit so its sits flush with the support panel.

According to an article on the eseries website:

"This allows alot more air to enter your airbox and in some case's is noticable. My old motor reved out alot better with the XH but no difference with the new one."

Whether it's noticeable or not, you can't go wrong by improving air intake regardless

cool thx i will most likey be buying one when i got the chance to go to the nearest ford hope its easy to install..i was wondering is there any other quik/easy/cheap mods i can do to my EB its a 3.9L MPEFI?t least untill i got chash for good things?..its my first car so not to quik on the uptake so thx for all the help

Assuming your EB is an auto, for $10-ish you could fit an electronic shift kit.
