Well after a good 7 months of watching my eb sit in the shed not going ive finally got the dollars saved to get it goin again. Dont know if you guys remember but due to a very smart spare parts sales man telling me that i dont need colder spark plugs for a higher compression and modded engine the electrode earth on the plug fatigued, cracked and fell off and i had a bit of metal float around in my enigine for a couple of second, long enough to do some damage to no1. but yeah i now have the cash to get it going again and do some more minor tweaks (adjustable cam gear, bbm manifold and so on) and build that 3.7 lsd diff ive wanted to for a while. so with any luck ill have it runnin in the month and ill have something better than i one wheel locker '77 corolla for weekends and i can go on e series cruzes again.

Jeez, I didn't know that such a thing could happen! (the spark plug electrode fatiguing & ending up in the cylinder), I hope all the turbo boys are reading this! Good luck with it all -Dave- |
