Ok here it is My new Xh sway bar next to my old eb xr6 sway bar, the xh messured 28mm compared to the 27mm from the xr, one mil doesnt sound like much but you can easily see it, the difference in weight is also quiet a bit when held.
On the road the improvement is very noticable and for $70 brand new its a cheaper option then the after market stuff

I have been thinking of getting one of these myself Rowy. I also am looking at getting a new Rear. I am also going to invest in New Upper Inner control arm brackets and bushes. The GT and Sprint EB ones are still available. They have Longer bolts for shimming and the Bush is Nolathane.
Thanks for posting that |

Would that be a suitable modification for an EL falcon... For $70 improved handling would be nice. Or are the swaybars a different shape between the models?

Well a el has the same k frame as a xh so its actually my eb that you would be more worried about it not fitting, you should have no probs with it...
I also got new xh bushes for the sway bar to bolt to the chassis, but i did'nt think they were needed in my case because my sway bar was 27mm. With a standard 26mm bar you may need to lash out and spend the extra $18 on the bushes.

I might have to do this to my car too...
Sorry for the onslaught of questions that follows: :P What is the size difference from the stock one? I have a feeling that the EL already has a 27mm sway bar on it at the front :( ? Was this just the standard ford part that you got? Part Number? Cheers

I am pretty sure that the sway bar thread that was up about a month ago said that a stocko el was 26mm, that is what a standard xh pano was...
For $88 all up for the sway bar and bushes, i also got 4 of the round bushes at the end coz the uppers were stuffed, $2 each
