Capa posted this on the other forums. I have just cut & pasted it.
Basically there will be a system available for the EA-EL Multi-point EFI 6cylinder / V8's very soon, it wont be a "Flash Programmer" like the AU/BA's.. As they are not a flashable based ECU in the vehicle.. It will be a module system which is programmed with the same software, which then plugs into the port in the bottom of the Ford ECU... Stay tuned!!!! Will be available soon!!!! Thought someone might be interested. |

Well that's good news! About time something like this was getting done..... I wonder how programmable/versatile it's going to be?
Which forums was it posted on?

Crap. I'll wait till its out before I get excited, just like the other 500 threads that have been moved because they're someones wet dream at night, not an actual product.
Sorry to be harsh guys, but who would be interested in tuning some 10year old cars that aren't getting built any more, when theres the BA/BF and future model Falcons coming out. If this actually came out though, I'll be first at CAPA with my car :P

Sooooo how is this different to Chiptorque product which is already excellent for what you need it to do? Unless CAPA are just licencing it or something.

My Guess is the software for tuning would be a bit more accessable to tuners than the Chiptorque's... But otherwise sounds quite similar.

How many different tuners did you try and compare before you came up with this? |
