Like it or not R-spec has history with FPV so at least they're trying to maintain some lineage to the previous version. I would be happy with that for what the car has option wise. Sprint would have worked as well...

Wonder how the color combo will work in real life...

Yeh that last GT RSPEC was such a failure. No one wanted to buy it.

You know that black and gold one with GT 40th RSPEC badges.....

I would have the blue one as although the black and red looks good, I drive on crap roads and can't afford a team of full time car washers to keep it looking clean.......

Wasn't the last Rspec (not RSPEC) the BFII Typhoon?

The Rspec badge was done in red as a sub-badge.

unfortunately the lack of explanation on the suspension probably means it is just a damper valving and/or spring revision or the like

Hope the the wheels are the same as my car so I can buy just two and then have a factory staggered set.

(and hope they don't want too much more than the $900 - $1000 the current rims cost from Ford)

"colour coded mirror scalps" ..........????

So its pretty much the "GT Black" with a bit of red and the wider tyres ford promised at the concept stage??

I say call it the PhaseII GT Black :P

On second thoughts.... If FPV would have tweeked the suspension and tested it around Bathurst, and got a respectable time, it could have been called the GT Bathurst. This could then be the rival car to the VXR8 Bathurst edition.

I have deleted all reference to the Dealer CONFIDENTIAL Bulletin and will undelete them if/when the information is made public.

DO NOT REFER TO IT UNTIL THEN.

This is the only warning.

Yes they do but publishing internal documentation will not help Ford or FPV.

All it will do is harm current sales and give the opposition more time to plan and enact counter moves.

Thanks for removing the details Flappist. Bit embarrassing to have them released here when clearly they are confidential until FPV decide to do the unveiling.

About as embarrassing as some of the hidden comments actually. I just cannot for the life of me understand how so many who come onto a Forum dedicated to FORDS & FPV can bag a product so much, with no intention of ever buying (own admissions) even before a picture or total details are released.

Really is just a sad indictment of some enthusiasts of the brand who CANNOT see the good bits but would much rather stick the boots in on a name or badge. Oh for all our sakes ....... Give it a damn rest!!

Embarrassing is an understatement really. I hold the product in such high regard as SO many others here do as well. It has served us well over SO many years with some great and exciting products ..... and are really continuing to do so.

If you are a hater who just loves to see the negatives, please leave or find another brand to hang crap on. It would really do those that enjoy what they drive a HUGE favor. It isn't needed.

Before any of the haters say they are passionate about what FPV or FORD are doing and that's why they dis on everything that is done ...... you are wrong. There are some negatives happening of course ...... but there are so many more good things happening ...... and this is one of them. Let those who love the brand, buy the brand and enjoy the brand everyday, just bloody well enjoy.

Felt like giving out some warnings for some of the hidden comments for being augmentative and disrespectful.

Really is crap and when it is released, by all means discuss the pros and cons ..... but at the same time appreciate what the hell FPV have given us and what the car is all about.

Hanging to see what it looks like.

Is the Sydney Motorshow going to be the unveiling of the GT-H? October?

Panther are allocated builds in July, August and September, so in theory they will all be built and sold by the time the Motorshow is on in October, making room for a new unveiling.

Won't see any down here, but I know someone who's seen a pilot build at Broady.

I don't know wether they have started production yet or not, but its scheduled to start sometime this month.

No...the DCM just outlines in dot points whats included. Everything is pretty much known and been talked about here in threads all about the place.

I just hope the "relationship" between Ford and the forum means we can still have access to good information, for all we knew it was made up...perhaps not. "Leaking" sensitive info is not a nice thing but IMO none of the updates coming need a crystal ball to work out.

Better chassis setup, some colours and touches here and there with a tune.
