Default Reco Air Compressor

Can anyone help me out. I need a new air compressor in my ED Fairmont. It is leaking from one of the seals. I know this is not a cheap exersise, so I am wanting to know of anyone in the trade that can help me out. I can pull the unit out myself & regas it as well. I live in Rowville. I am also a Panel Beater, so maybe we could trade labour instead of cash.

The compressor is what drives the air con.

Yes, John, it's a great idea. A friend put an extra compressor on his 4x4 engine. Made the end of a Fraser Island trip a bit easier, without having to wait for the air hose at the servo!

Fairmonty Python.. I had a new compressor put in the EL for just over a grand. Two weeks later the evaporator started a new leak.
