Question More power

I think my xr6 could use a little more power, so can you guys tell me if ef xr6 has extractors on them all ready.?

no. not unless you bought the car second hand and the previous owner put them on.

more power = money, lots of it sometimes.

Extractors would be the first thing on my list.

What would be a good brand to put on, and roughly how much would it cost, and of course roughly how much extra kws am i looking at.?

Nope, they use the same exhaust manifold as all the 6's. There exhaust does turn into dual pipes halfway down the exhuast and then goes back into one.

I vote either pacemaker or JMM.

Geez then what has been done to the xr6, to make it an xr6 if it doesnt even have extractors on them, what has tickford done to the engine then.?

the cam is a little bit better, apparently the head is a tiny little bit better, has stronger valve springs to suit bigger cams, the ecu is a little bit better than standard, and also the big ratio diff, for take off. the styling of the car also

And to think that these things cost between $40-45,000 new when they came out and my other half is laughing his head off cause i cant get near his xf and ford or tickford couldnt put a set of $350.00 extractors on.Grrrrrrr now if a woman was in charge we would have done the job right. :eclipsee_
