Ye if I did buy it I would prolly get a torquier gas cam fitted to improve range and towing but that is all....I don't need horsepower.

This is my old mans AU1 Fairmont wagon that I sold about 3 years ago for $10K.
Also had factory fitted Tickford suspension, MOMO wheel, Tickford rims and he fitted the full T3 performance brakes front and rear too. Headers and full exhaust, sounded very nice.....


He's now got a BA LTD

I am an owner of an AU II Ghia V8.... Motor is generally BULLETPROOF - except for fuel starving - which I am yet to sort out...........

Apparently a common complaint with these cars, though I am yet to find a suitable remedy....

Fuel starving...... Replaced the fuel pump lately? May have low pressure?

Been there, done that....... was pinging it's brains off, even on 100 Octane.
MAF hotwire sensor in the intake hose.

Cleaned the two wires with MAF cleaner.
Been good as gold since.
