I was told the car will rust away before the Windsor 5.0L will get tired. They're a great engine.

Ye if I did buy it I would prolly get a torquier gas cam fitted to improve range and towing but that is all....I don't need horsepower.

This is my old mans AU1 Fairmont wagon that I sold about 3 years ago for $10K.
Also had factory fitted Tickford suspension, MOMO wheel, Tickford rims and he fitted the full T3 performance brakes front and rear too. Headers and full exhaust, sounded very nice..... He's now got a BA LTD

I am an owner of an AU II Ghia V8.... Motor is generally BULLETPROOF - except for fuel starving - which I am yet to sort out...........
Apparently a common complaint with these cars, though I am yet to find a suitable remedy....
