Anyone have an idea why my air con direction controls no longer work? It's stuck on Screen and if I try any other position I get no response, otherwise A/C is working fine.
Thanks in advance Pete |

Dont be such an *** luke
meatypete: look in the engine bay on the passenger side. depending on your car model and year there will be 1 green plastic hose and 1 or 2 black, either 1 long or 1 long and one short. make sure the long one is plugged to a vac source. on a 6cyl mpi this is toward the end of the manifold on a white plastic nipple, a cfi manifold its on the top somewhere. |

Hey NZ
I am really indebted to you for your help, indeed one of the tubes was disconnected from the vacuum, saved me heaps of money probably too. As for XRATED, I didn't get round to replying to him straight away as I wanted to reply in a manner that "no-brainers" understand, anyway it would have been something along the lines of "About as useful as a Chocolate Fire Guard"! Thanks again Pete |

It is indeed a frequently asked question, maybe this needs to be a tutorial?
meatypete - in the future try a search, if ya get nothing then ask. Some 'old times' get grumpy! lol :evil_laug
