The Unimogs are not $9 anymore.. Now one of them is above $20.000.
And these are the 'full size truck' Unimog. For private use it would been better with the smaller ones ;) If it had to be big I think I would have more fun to drive around in a retired prime mover, for example this one..

Is there any of them in Australia at all?

I already own one small vintage Ex-military 4x4 'jeep', a 1966 Volvo L3314, but its in storage in Europe still. Should have imported that here to WA ;) Would be the only one in Australia..

I have had lots of offroad fun with it in the forests / mountains in Europe, as you would need a modified modern 4x4 to keep up with it. Almost impossible to get permanently bogged with a small light 4wd like that.
