Default XR Front Spoiler

Hi Guys

I'm in the final stages of purchasing an EL XR front bar for my conversion, however I do have one question I need answering.

Pictured above you will see a picture of my EF's front bar with XR front spoiler.

What I want to know is, will that spoiler fit on the new EL XR bar?

Any help would be great.

Michael

Talking hmmm

I might be wrong but the best way i think would be to go to a wreckers or find a nate who would be willing to test fit it ie no glue also if its a mate cver his bar with an old sheet thats all i can think of but it still should fit anyway i think

You can actually keep your front bar, if you're willing to do a bit of cutting. The XR ones were normal bumpers with the top cut off. Although it was apparently laser cut to have a straight edge.

I reckon Fairmonts look better than XRs. Your car looks mint in that pic, I wouldn't change a thing if I were you. But it's your car, so whatever floats your boat.

I'm with Kenaz, keep the fairmont front and maybe make a custom grill
if you how ever do want to go XR front, consider what XR6 Martin said.
and for an idea of how it'd look:

just add the kit :P

Well I just purchased the EL XR front bar off eBay for 720 including freight, 560 for bar, 160 for frieght, so I'm going quadlights Ford wanted 1300, but would do a deal for 1100, also the bar is already painted white and is in good condition, will probably respray it thou just to make it look nice and new.

I don't go much on the venom bar. But when I told my girlfriend I had spend more money on the car, she cracked the sh**s with me. That's half the battle thou, getting it past her then it's easy street
