Default Has this ever happened to you?

I put my new sub into my Falcon yesterday, and on the way home from work tonight i decided i'd crank it up a bit. Later on down the road i noticed that my interia rear view mirron had worked its way loose and was about to fall off its bracket on my front window.

If this has happened to you, what have you done to secure it back so it doesnt fall off?

Thanks Paul

Ha Ha Ha
yep the same thing happend to me in my old XE
and it even blew out the corner of the rear window
I reglued my mirror back on
Then 1 hot day i had it cranked right up and i seen it was comeing loose again so i grabed it and just thought that i could pull it off. I gave it a bit of a wiggle and broke the windscreen
I was so ИИИИed off then

So just be carefull
or you might do the same thing if unlucky

just get come of the strongest glue you can find. Not sure if araldite would work on the glass. Mine has done the same but not due to bass, it come off when i went too fast over train tracks, didn't actually come off the glass so i just slipped it back on. It fall off every now and then. Same with the fuse cover panel, that allways falls off on rough roads.

you just have adjust it fully down then angle it in to the right spot if you no what i mean.( probably not).
I have 2x 12 inch jaycar responses in my wagon and i coundnt see threw the mirror but if i adjusted it right it would stay there.

Im not too worried about it holding its viewing position, i just want the thing to stay on the windscreen. Ive put a hocky tie around it and its holder and its holding in place okay for now, a more permadent solution will have to forth come.

its just held on to the bracket with an allen jey screw, just find the right size allen key and tighten it up, mine has been fine since i tightend it, before i would crank the subs and it would drop down.

If the mounting plate has come off the window and you want it to stay on for good, take it to a windscreen install company, let them glue it on with their commercial glue, then it should stay on.
