the RS cars that audi have made over time have been some ELITE pieces of machinery. i remember seeing the rs4 back at high school when i still had a wagon fetish and almost barring up over the spec sheet. then the rs6 came out a little later and i had to have a private moment.

Those who know me know that this is the car I have been hanging on about ever since it was a rumour! Even went as far as getting details of the "best" sales rep to buy one from in the state if (when?!) I find myself in that position.... it is a sacred mission that was revealed to me in a vision, that I must own one of these.

The boss had the video emailed to him from the Audi dealer after the motor show. $167k on the road.

He is also being collected this week in a new Cayman S to have for a couple of hours to test it out. (and I get to drive it as well) Only prob with the Cayman is, to do everything you need to do to it to have it looking schmick, its $180k on the road. May as well spend the extra $20k and get a Carerra.

Still love the M3, but damn.... I think I'll take one of each. That thing is insane.

I remember having a fetish for the RS wagon a couple of years back.

the grey one is an rs6... the yellow one is an rs4, they look different... the rs4 is a bit more dated looking...

The new 4.2litre 309kW 430Nm V8 RS4 is a stunning car.

It obliterates its competition (C55 AMG and M3) in any way you can think of. Build quality, luxury, handling, acceleration... you name it it will beat them.

I'd love to own one of these...

I heard only 45 were imported. Not a bad 'family' car.

Loved the original RS4 wagon with the Porsche brakes and mirrors on it.
Fell in love when i first saw it.

Still can't believe that Jeremy Clarkson believes it's better than the M3 ... although that 4.2L V8 is a sweet engine.

Would love an RS4, but alas living in Sydney, I'd be too scared to drive it for fear of being car jacked. I'm a big fan of staying under the radar! Feel free to call me a wuss.
