Hey guys, I have a bit of an odd question. I am just curious what is a good fuel or additive to get a little more out of a standard engine. Was thinkin about just runing BP ultimate with a bottle of octane booster, but thought I might ask some people for their experience on what is good.

believe you are wasting your time with the booster. It will only be of benefit if the car is in the higher performance end of the scale. The 98 ron will do plenty enuff in a standard engine. Any higher octane and you will be wasting your dough.

Yeah, from what I know engines are designed for a specific fuel so if you put 96or higher in a car designed for 91, you won't get any advantage.

You can take advantage of fuel additives. Youll need to adjust your tuning to get hte most benefit or at least advance your timing.
