This sucker will give Territory a serious run for it's money & anyone who doesn't think that is just plain stupid. Especially when they see the sticker price...
It still has the " Made by Daewoo" stigma attached. People still say "Made in China, no thanks" and this is years after they've lifted the game over there. Most fairly expensive consumer goods made in China today are of good quality. People say "Buy Sony, it's made in Japan". Errgh, wrong. Not all Sony is made in Japan any more, the stuff made in Malayasia is below Sony's usual high standards. You wouldn't believe the "bring back" rates of some suppossedly "quality brand name" products.
Ask any "Joe Public" what they think of the 'new' Viva and Barina, 8 out of 10 I've asked say "no thanks" (from different brand loyalties).
Ask anyone in the retail industry, consumer perception is a very very powerful selling point.

Only if it's unlocked!
If I borrowed one, would that be casual S3X?

And if it was up on blocks in your shed, never getting driven it'd be Married S3X?

After owning one for a while it'd just be the same old S3X. But if you bought some goodies for it you could spice up your S3X life!

With some easily fitted attachments you could have an enhanced S3X drive!

There will be a FWD version, and its not permanent AWD, its an on demand system that only sends power to all the wheels when it needs it. Its FWD biased. The diesel is only a little 4 cylinder too.

And don't forget that it is; 217mm shorter, 49mm narrower, and has a 135 mm shorter wheelbase. More info on S3X ( Captiva )

And what is its towing capacity and being an import, what is tha parts pricing like?

Being that much smaller basically puts it in a class lower than Territory. More like an X Trail or even the new RAV 4. I'm over hearing that its a Territory competitor just because it has a Holden badge. If it was still badged as a Daewoo no one would say its a Territory competitor.
