Well, I went to Vicroads today, car still superlow + mags + 'spool + loudish exhaust. The guy came out and got me to drive it in for the inspection (had to do a U-turn LOL, and I also scraped over the speedbump he was standing next to). He said "headlights; flick em on... ok good. Now start her up."
I started it up and he said, "that sounds fine, I'll just have a look under and see the work that was done...." (*NOTE:my muffler is 6cm from the ground at the best of times) then that was quickly followed by "oh man, that is soooo low buddy! Did the policeman not get you for that?" I replied with a "nah mate haha". He then said "oh, you're so lucky, i dont know how you talked your way out of that, but good on ya!" He stamped the paperwork to say everything was fine, and I was on my way! Very pleased indeed Jared

lucky the guy that inspected your car wasnt having a bad day.Early last year my dad got pulled over in his zd fairlane 500 on the hume hwy, they made him go into vicroads cause his front tyres were worn. Anyway the guy that inspected his car didnt pass him because his car was to loud (its loud but not that loud). So since that its just been sitting in the back, gaining rust and flat spots.............
Lol, i gota take my car in for a road worthy too cause my front left tyre is bold and the front demist doesnt switch over, but i can find many more things than those problems :voldar02:. Hopefully i dont get an inspecter that checks out every crack and crevice found in my car :. |
