Default Cleaning MAP sensor

are these able to be cleaned out somehow cause ford want $220 for one so i thought id try cleaning mine

As far as I know you can't clean these out, but I may be wrong

MAP for i6 the ones at the wreckers are eb's ed's mines an el so the ones in the wreckers would be heaps old

Be thankful its a MAP, get a price for a new MAF....

There must be a few EL MAPs around in wreckers, or ebay even.

its a vacumme sensor(ie air) and can get dirty or watnot and cause car to run rough and use more fuel?? i heard they last for 100,000k's average b4 they pack it in

im sure ther are pleanty of wreaker's out ther with EL wreak's
plus i dont think ther's a diffrence from EF/L is ther?
