hey im installing my short throw on the w/e just wondering if i losen off the rear mount i think its the crossmember to drop it down a litle bit will it do any damage bend/break anything just need to lower it enough to get to the shifter base and do a swap????????

No damage will be done. I've done this myself a couple of times already.

Have a trolly jack under it to drop it slowly just in case.

so is there a way you can install the short shifter with out moving the gearbox

trolley jack but thats what im using to hold the car up lol :S can i rest it on the crossmember |
