Default Charcoal canister EF falcon

its buggered as the ef got stacked, is it going to hurt if i block off the lines to it or just connect them together and **** off the canister?

legally you need to run it, i'd say if you simply disconnected it and plugged up the line the engine wouldn't care.
straight LPG cars do not require it so i imagine the car would run fine (ECU probably won't know or care)

Car will run fine, i ran without one for a couple weeks after my little bingle. You will smell slight fumes though, didnt effect my economy.

ECU wont really be able to tell the difference... it only vents the cannister under certain conditions...

However.

The vapours which will be escaping the cannister are FAR MORE WORSE than anything which your tailpipe emits. So, whilst your car will function perfectly... i'd ask that you spare the enviroment a thought. And perhaps remember the more we pollute, the harder the government will make it for us to legally modify cars.

So keep the venting of petrol fumes to a minimum if you can
