Talking New Memeber Saying Hi

Hey All.
Just thought i would say hi to all and introduce myself and my car.
My names Scotty, Im 19 and live on the Central Coast of NSW.
I just bought a 1998 EL Fairmont for $6500 in perfect condition, except for two small scratches on the front passenger door and a small crack in the windscreen.
Cant wait to start modding and going on cruises to meet everyone.
Cheers Scotty.

Here are a few pics of my car.

Nice clean Fairmont, youve got there. Man those clean EF/EL Fairmonts seem to be becoming the weapon of choice for the next generation of Ford fans.

First mod you can do that'll cost you nothing is... remove the reflector tape on the rear bar! :P

Love the cappa interior

Edit: Just noticed the door reflectors too, lose them!

Welcome. It is a nice looking car besides that damn reflector tape. Seriously, what posesses people to stick stuff like that on a car? Anyway, you will love the forums. It won't be long before you're addicted!

Only the Ghia got leather in EL.

Bummer about the tape pulling paint off. Have you tried heating the tape with a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive? Might have a bit of success that way. Good to hear the reflectors on the door are going
My Fairmont had grandpa spec bonnet protectors, headlight protectors and number plate surrounds when I bought it. They lasted bout 30 minutes in my driveway LOL.
