Pull over where safe and wait in the car . Even for the unmarked vw golfs running about Brisbane

once when I was driving home I looked in the rear view and saw the flashing lights behind me. I pulled over and they pulled up behind me. sat there for a minute and drove off. it was just a bunch of idiots in a Commodore.

I don't feel safe pulling over now late at night knowing it could be anyone.

This is the dumbest thread I've read so far on this forum.

Good luck luck not pulling over or not turning off your car while a Police Officer approaches.

A lot whinge about common sense here but at the same time a lot seem to lack it.

I wouldnt pull over for a unmarked car and a bunch of short sleave muscle police teeshirt tatoo bikie looking dudes to come over all angry at you.

Id wait for a clearly market police car.the problem is once you stop they will try jumping on your bonnet or something?.

Id pull over , doors locked, window cracked and engine on in gear ready to drive off.
If it looked really dodgey, I would call the police or drive to a servo/ police station if it was nearby.

welcome to AFF lawyers. why ask unqualified people what the law is? there are many sources far more reliable
  1. ask at the police station
  2. ask at the local court house
  3. go see a real lawyer
all of these sources actually know what they are talking about , they are trained and qualified in different aspects of the law.

I'd recommend pulling over. In my experience, drivers who continue driving after the red and blues are on, are looking for an opportunity to do a runner or are considering one. You may not be this type of person, but might be treated as one.
