Ferrari 355 – pfft!
When Nic Cage was driving that Italian slug couldn’t even catch up with a seventy year old Sean Connery driving a Hummer H1 in the high brow documentary “The Rock”. How the hell can it expect to keep up with a worked Supra? |

The Fast and the Furious is a great movie. Laugh a minute. Floor pans falling out when you hit the naaawwwwzzzzz, 15 minute quarter miles, naaaawwwwzzzz exploding, front wheel burnouts, double clutching on upshifts, SR20s in Hondas, it's a crack up. They had one decent car in the movie, then decided to total it. What a waste. |

Give me the big block seen anyday. I would rather see a movie that features a gt-p falcon all decked out.

The farce and the fictitious. The ONLY thing good about that movie was the dodge charger. I loved that car so much. Otherwise, what a waste of space.
I lost count of the stupid quotes and scenes after I got to about 50. Psycho Chicken mentioned alot of them. One that springs to mind right now was "Oh man it's got a motec exhaust system". HAHAHA morons. |

The start of Mad Max 2 is the best - the car chase with Max in the Coupe with the fake Supercharger going - now thats what I call a good movie.

Synopsis From the makers of both runaway hits The Fast and the Furious and its sequel, 2 Fast 2 Furious, comes the new installment in the motion picture saga built on speed: The Fast and the Furious 3. In this adrenalized new story, set in the sexy, underground world of Japanese drift racing, the newest and fastest customized rides go head-to-head on some of the most perilous courses ever seen. Shaun Boswell has always been an outsider. A loner at school, his only connection to the indifferent world around him is through illegal street racing- which has made him particularly unpopular with the local authorities. To avoid jail time, Shaun is sent out of the country to live with his uncle in the military, in a cramped apartment in a low-rent section of Tokyo. Now officially gaijin, or outsider, Shaun tee is even more shut out in a foreign land of strange customs and codes of honor. But it doesn’t take him long to find the action when he and a new, American bud discover the underground world of drift racing-a deadly combination of brutal speed on a heart-stopping course of hairpin turns and switchbacks. In the land that gave birth to most modified racers on the road, the simple street race has been replaced by the ultimate pedal-to-the-medal, gravity-defying automotive challenge.. .pushing the envelope of what’s possible. The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift is produced by Neal Moritz and directed by Justin Lin. CHEERS !!!

Although, they aren't easy to get ahold of and if you're under 30, you've probably never seen them (ok - I'm under 30, but I was lucky enough to find some copies ). Neither are as slick as the movies people are used to these days, but they are all about seeing them belt the daylights out of big block yank muscle. :dr_Evil: Vanishing Point http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067927/ Running from the law in a Dodge Challenger R/T (440 cubic-inch V-8 according to the trivia). Brutal bloody thing when he stomps on it. Bullit http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062765/ Charger and a Mustang going head to head. Really you only get it for that one chase scene, but its still pretty good. |
