Someone asked me if it came with a rwc... wtf WA doesn't have rwc!
Anyway...
I will see how it goes in the free rag this week. First time I've paid to put it in the free paper. $5.50 makes it bold

Like I said before ebay isn't the be all and end all

Rather than opening a new thread I thought I'd revive this one

Check this out

That's an AU III Fairmont 93,000 on the clock. I have seen this car in the yard for more than $20,000. This is the 2nd discount they want it gone.

There's a fair bit of body damage
Big dent - you can see it in the pics. Doesn't look too easy to remove either.
Drivers mirror - plastic housing cracked.
Deep scratches - panel where the wheel arch is near the mirror
Front bumper - paint peeling lhs
Rear bumper - various scratches
Power Antenna appears broken
Towball missing
Passenger mirror - not colour coded (must've been replaced on the cheap)

I'm inclined to offer them $8,000 (if it drives ok) and see what they say. I reckon it's had the ИИИИ thrashed out of it...

Have a crack at it. If you don't ask then the answer is no. Presumably you're thinking of trading the ol' girl on it.

Yeah have a go. Stick $8000 cash in their face, they just might take it.

It sounds as though you're gonna need a few thou leftover to get it sorted out a bit.

If you like it go for it IMO.

Let us know how you go.

There's a good chance they might take it. Back in January I bought an AU3 Fairmont from Fowles Auctions in Melbourne for $7500. Admittedly the car was unreg with 190,000 k's but the car was in good nick & it sailed thru the roadworthy.
