Why does everyone see putting a car on a plane to fly it to its destination so crazy? It makes perfect sense.

In what way is air transport better? I can see no way that it is an advantage. Unless you have to travel a fantastic distance. Perhaps it is really cheap in England, but, here in Australia, I imagine it is pretty hefty.

Used the rubber spacers before when we use to tow the race cars around ,I think I got them from a trailer shop ,so try your luck there and if they don't have them they will know where to get them .Plus we found if we where to go far ( more than a 100 kays we would take them out while it was on the trailer as it seemed to sit better .
But the best way to go . Good luck with it anyway . |

Ah, you are assuming we are talking about massive distances. I can understand flying a car from one side of europe to the other, but moving a couple of hundred k's really isn't worth the effort. See, the odds of there being a major airport(one that has transport planes for vehicles) near both the depature and destination points is pretty bloody slim.
As for putting a low car onto a trailer; Some trailers can tilt, they pivot about the axle giving a less steep angle for the ramp. If that isn't available, try puting a long plank on each ramp, this can make for a much less steep angle, making it easier for you to get it on and off.
